Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch. Season both sides with salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Dredge the seasoned chicken in flour for a crunchier texture before coating.
  3. Prepare the breading by dipping each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then press into breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange chicken in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with olive oil. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove chicken and spoon marinara sauce over each piece. Top with shredded mozzarella.
  7. Return the chicken to the air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped basil or parsley and serve immediately.
