Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat, then mix in the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract, followed by the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add red food coloring until your desired vibrant color is achieved.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until creamy; gradually mix in the sugar until well combined.
  6. Beat in an egg along with the sour or heavy cream until smooth and homogenous.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Dollop half of the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer, spreading it without mixing.
  9. Repeat with the remaining brownie batter and cheesecake mixture.
  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is set and edges have a light golden hue.
