  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Ripe and diced
  • 2 pcs Kiwis Ripe and chopped

  • 1/4 cup Red Onion Finely diced
  • 1 pcs Jalapeño Minced, seeds removed for milder taste
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Chopped; parsley can be substituted

  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 pinch Salt To taste
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Agave Syrup Optional for sweetness

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash strawberries and kiwis under cool running water. Hull the strawberries and finely dice them. Peel kiwis and chop into similar-sized chunks.
  2. Finely dice 1/4 cup of red onion and mince a jalapeño (removing seeds for a milder salsa). Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine diced strawberries, kiwi chunks, red onion, and minced jalapeño. Add chopped cilantro and mix.
  4. Squeeze lime juice over mixture, sprinkle in salt, and optionally drizzle honey or agave syrup.
  5. Gently stir until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving.
  6. After chilling, give the salsa a final stir, taste for seasoning, and garnish with additional cilantro or slices of strawberries and kiwis.
