  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
For Serving
  • 8 oz Cooked Pasta your favorite shape
  • 1/4 cup Additional Parmesan for topping

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather your fresh basil, garlic cloves, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  2. In a dry skillet over medium heat, gently toast your pine nuts for 3-5 minutes.
  3. In a food processor, combine the fresh basil leaves, peeled garlic cloves, and toasted pine nuts.
  4. Add freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stream in olive oil until desired consistency.
  5. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cook your favorite pasta shape according to package instructions and toss it with the pesto.
  7. Plate your pasta and finish with additional Parmesan and a drizzle of olive oil.
