- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter a 13x9 inch baking dish.
- Peel, core, and slice the Granny Smith apples into wedges, aiming for about 8 wedges per apple.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough into triangles and wrap each apple wedge snugly with the dough.
- Melt 1/2 cup of butter and stir in 1 cup of sugar until combined. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and pour over the dumplings.
- Carefully pour the Mountain Dew around the edges of the dish and sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
