Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with olive oil.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh herbs, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place the cod filets on the prepared baking sheet and season both sides with kosher salt and black pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic herb butter mixture generously over the top of each cod filet.
  5. Lay thin slices of lemon on top of the cod filets on the baking sheet.
