Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar over each chop and pour in soy sauce. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Allow the sauce to bubble gently for 3 minutes while basting the chops with the sauce.
  6. Check the internal temperature of the chops, cooking until they reach 145°F (63°C). Remove from heat.
  7. Let them rest for 5 minutes, then drizzle with remaining glaze before serving.
