Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into uniform meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on a plate or baking sheet.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat with a splash of oil. Brown the meatballs on all sides for about 5 minutes.
  4. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, additional minced garlic, and water in a separate bowl. Pour the sauce over the browned meatballs.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 8-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and the meat is cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or fresh herbs. Serve over rice or noodles.
