For the Mango Salsa
  • 2 cups Mangoes Ripe mangoes preferred.
  • 1 small Red Onion Can substitute with green onions.
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Can substitute with regular tomatoes.
  • 1 cup Cilantro Use parsley if cilantro is not preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Can use lemon juice as an alternative.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes Optional for heat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Finely dice the mangoes, red onion, and cherry tomatoes. Combine in a bowl with cilantro, lime juice, and olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Brush the tuna steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and grill tuna for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Plate the grilled tuna and top with mango salsa. Garnish with lime wedges or cilantro if desired.
