  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce Can substitute with diced tomatoes.
For Assembling
  • 8 Taco Shells/Tortillas Crispy corn shells or soft flour tortillas.
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream) Customize with avocados or radishes.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent and soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Increase the heat to medium-high, then add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Once browned, stir in the taco seasoning and 1 cup of tomato sauce. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm your taco shells.
  5. Start assembling the tacos by spooning the seasoned beef into your taco shells or tortillas, layering on your favorite toppings.
  6. For garnishes, add chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
  7. Present your beef tacos on a platter for everyone to enjoy.
