  3. Step 3: Sauté Aromatics. Add butter, garlic, shallots, and ginger to skillet, sauté for 3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Step 4: Add Spices. Stir in cumin, curry powder, cayenne, and turmeric, cook for an additional minute.
  5. Step 5: Deglaze and Simmer. Add broth or water, scrape bottom of skillet, simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Step 6: Create the Sauce. Mix in garam masala paste, tomato paste, and crushed tomatoes, simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Finish the Curry. Stir in cream, return salmon, let simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Garnish and Serve. Plate curry, sprinkle with cashews and cilantro, serve with rice or naan.
