Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced steak, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear for 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove the steak and set it aside.
  2. In the same skillet, lower the heat slightly and add butter. Add diced yellow onion and bell peppers, sautéing for 5-6 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium-low, pour in heavy cream, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually mix in provolone cheese, stirring until melted. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  4. Cook cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and add to the sauce, gently folding them together.
  5. Return the seared steak to the skillet, combining it with the tortellini and sauce. Allow to cook for another minute. Optionally, top with mozzarella cheese and broil for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your dish.
