Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the uncooked fettuccine and cook until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss cut chicken with garlic powder and half of the Cajun seasoning in a bowl. Season shrimp with the remaining Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the seasoned chicken for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Set aside with the chicken.
  5. Add heavy cream and cream cheese in the skillet. Stir and cook until smooth, about 3-5 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Return chicken and shrimp to the skillet, add drained pasta, and toss until coated. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs.
