Step-by-Step Instructions for Creamy Chicken Broccoli Alfredo
- Gather all your ingredients. Chop chicken, cut broccoli, mince garlic, and grate Parmesan cheese.
- Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add pasta and cook until just under al dente, about 8-10 minutes. In the last 3 minutes, add broccoli. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and allow to thicken for about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Return pasta, chicken, and broccoli to the skillet. Toss to coat with the Alfredo sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley or basil and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
