Preparation Steps

  3. Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth (or white wine), bringing to a gentle simmer for about 2 minutes to combine flavors. Add 1 cup of heavy cream and ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, stirring and allowing the sauce to thicken for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and the juice of half a lemon. Stir in 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped herbs. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it and warming through for another minute.
