Preparation Steps
- Wash fresh strawberries under cold water, hull and slice them thinly, about a quarter-inch thick.
- Slice croissants horizontally without cutting all the way through.
- Spread cream cheese on the cut side of each croissant.
- Layer sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
- Sprinkle chopped herbs over strawberries if using.
- Close each croissant and press down gently.
- Slice into bite-sized portions or serve whole.
