- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet. Sauté yellow squash and Vidalia onion for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Combine sautéed vegetables with melted butter, sour cream, half of the Parmesan, and cheddar in a mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
