  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger Grated, fresh ginger is preferred.
For the Finish
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil Drizzle at the end for a nutty aroma.
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Adjust according to heat preference.
For the Crunch
  • 2 cups Coleslaw Mix Usually contains shredded cabbage and carrots.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of water to a boil, add the noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 4-6 minutes. Drain and rinse under cool water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat peanut oil over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and green onions, breaking up the pork. Sauté for about 5-6 minutes until browned.
  3. Whisk together sauce: combine chicken broth, mirin, dark soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and sriracha in a medium bowl.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and coleslaw mix to the skillet with pork. Pour the sauce over and gently toss everything together.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Stir frequently and ensure everything is well-combined.
  6. Transfer to serving bowls and garnish with reserved green onions.
