Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Zest the orange and juice it, setting both aside for later.
  3. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Beat together the granulated sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
  5. Gently stir in the orange zest, juice, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in the cranberries carefully, dusting with flour if desired to prevent sinking.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top and tapping lightly to remove air bubbles.
