  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and granulated sugar. Sprinkle active dry yeast on top and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Stir in salt and vegetable oil until combined. Gradually add all-purpose flour until dough pulls away from the sides.
  3. Knead the dough on floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the risen dough, divide into two, shape into loaves, and place in greased loaf pans.
