Ingredients
  

Margarita Mix
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries ripe and juicy
  • 2 oz silver tequila high-quality
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice preferably freshly squeezed
  • 1 oz orange liqueur Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • ¾ oz agave syrup adjust sweetness to taste
Garnish
  • 1 slice lime wedge for garnish
  • 3 whole blackberries for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash 1 cup of fresh blackberries and blend until smooth. Strain through a sieve to remove seeds.
  2. In a shaker, combine 2 oz silver tequila, 1 oz lime juice, 1 oz orange liqueur, ¾ oz agave syrup, and 2 tablespoons of blackberry puree.
  3. Add ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until chilled.
  4. Moisten the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and dip into salt. Fill the glass with ice.
  5. Strain the mixture into the glass, then garnish with blackberries and a lime wheel.
