- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- Add butter to the skillet, then minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds. Stir in honey and let simmer for 2 minutes before coating the chicken with the honey garlic sauce.
- Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions, about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour to make a roux, then gradually add milk, whisking until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese.
- Combine macaroni and cheese sauce. Serve topped with honey garlic chicken and garnish with parsley if desired.
