Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then season with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Arrange the wings skin-side up on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
- Transfer to a second baking sheet with a cooling rack and bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- In a small saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, mango juice, sugar, and habanero sauce. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until it thickens.
- Brush wings with sauce several times during the last 5 to 7 minutes of baking.
