- Season both sides of the boneless skinless chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour in the chicken broth and marinara sauce.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
- About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella and freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
- Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, garnish with chopped fresh basil and serve.
