  • 2 cups Strawberries hulled and chopped
  • 2 cups Kiwis peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion finely diced
  • 1 each Jalapeño minced, seeds removed for less heat
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice fresh is ideal
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or Agave Syrup optional for sweetness

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then chop into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Peel and dice the kiwis similarly.
  3. Finely dice half a red onion.
  4. Mince jalapeño by removing seeds for less heat.
  5. Chop a handful of cilantro.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries, kiwis, onion, and jalapeño.
  7. Drizzle with lime juice and sprinkle with salt. Optionally, add honey or agave syrup.
  8. Gently fold the ingredients together.
  9. Cover the bowl or transfer salsa to an airtight container and chill for at least 20 minutes.
  10. Garnish with additional cilantro leaves or fresh fruit before serving.
