Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring even coverage for maximum flavor.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and pour the chicken broth and marinara sauce over. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours until chicken is tender.
  4. 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken and cover.
  5. Garnish with chopped basil and serve over pasta, rice, or with roasted vegetables.
