Cooking Steps
  1. Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode for 3 minutes.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until onion is translucent (4-5 minutes).
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart; cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  4. Sprinkle in chili powder and smoked paprika; toast for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Mix in tomato paste and crushed tomatoes; cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in beef broth, add beans and bell peppers; stir to combine.
  7. Seal the lid; set to high pressure for 20 minutes.
  8. Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes before venting.
  9. Stir chili, taste, and adjust seasoning as necessary.
